DVD::RIP Question
Anyway, I have it running after being in dependency Hell for a bit. My question is, how can I get an AVI file out of the DVD? I figure I'll use the divx codec, but I can screw with that aspect layer. I know about the codecs and wrappers, I've done this on the Windows side, I just can't seem to find the right menus on dvd::rip.

The "Transcode" tab has a "Select container" option - AVI should be one of the options in here, as shown in http://linux.oneandoneis2.org/GP2X/6.png

Wherever you tell it to in the *first* screen: http://linux.oneandoneis2.org/GP2X/2.png - the one labelled "avi directory"

I just ripped the DVD and now I'm transcoding. So far there is no AVI file in there. Will it appear when the process is complete?

I got it working.
This kicks ass, I have gone through so many Windows programs that crashed constantly. I get this working, I start it before I go to class, I come back at ten and... its done!
