well i inserted a dvd and open my cdrom.
there were two folders, AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS.
AUDIO_TS is empty.
in VIDEO_TS, there are .bup, .ifo and .vob files.
i could open the .vob files, but they were only scenes and there was no sound. and the image was kinda laggy.
aaaar
what should i do?

Which rpm did u download?

mplayer filename
will play the file.

Run "gmplayer" without the quotes in the run box or on a console. The GUI version will appear.

You need to use apt or yum (package managers for Fedora Core) to install the packages you need. Setup the repositories for freshrpms.net or dag. To find out more about yum or apt, do a google search or read the documentation on freshrpms and dag.

Oh, thats the command line only version. Use this
http://dag.wieers.com/packages/mplay...c3.rf.i386.rpm

If you are comfortable its better to compile form the sources though.
