DVD editing software?
Hi everyone, I'm looking for the last program to fully port to linux.
Need programs for: 1)Ripping from a dvd disc to an iso, kinda what does dvdshrink, dvdclone. 2)Editing movies to be later copied into a dvd with menus, and defining chapters. Using avi, mpeg, etc videos (Ex in win, dvd producer) I need mostly #2. Any ideas? |
Consult the list of equivalents as a starting point.. this list is not complete but will give you some good places to start..
http://www.linuxrsp.ru/win-lin-soft/table-eng.html#43 and some misc notes on video editing in Linux..: http://users.dslextreme.com/~craig.l...tes/video.html |
k9copy can rip from dvds, mkisofs can create iso's if k9 cant, dvdauthor can create menus from xml files

And If I want to make a dvd out of a DivX or Xvid avi, what can I use?
