DVD Decrypter alternative

Hey. Right now I'm using DVD Decrypter w/ Wine and it works pretty well but it's slow - much slower than the drive should be.

I've had trouble finding a native Linux solution. I'm simply trying to backup my movies onto DVD+R DLs. I would also just prefer a Linux program to something under Wine.

Any suggestions?
