Cool dvd burning / copy software?


Anyone know where I can get an easy to use package that will let me burn DVD's to a que DVD burner plus copy and edit DVD movies (for backup purposes of course) ?

gcombust will let you do dvd burning, but I don't know about editing. That would require a separate piece of software.

Any front end to cdrecord should allow DVD writing. If not, go straight to the source and use cdrecord.

As for an editor, do you mean just to "Trim" it, or actual editing of the video?

I'd like to copy a DVD movie with the option of leaving out certian scenes that I don't care for

well there's always **MY** application. http://acidrip.sf.net it doesn't allow to remove chapters in the middle, but you can always just copy each part and join them up afterwards.
