DVD Authoring and Video editing Apps?

Need some Video Editing and DVD authoring apps. Can anyone recommend the best?

For DVD authoring, use DVDStyler. For editing, try something like Cinelerra.
I have used DVDStyler before, and it works quite nicely; I have never used Cinelerra, though.

Make that two thumbs up for DVDStyler. The new 1.7 is really great. Lots of button choices and now it will do the mpeg2 encoding for you.
