Accidentally deleted /lib/modules/2.4.18-3 folder

I think I really messed up RH 7.3. I was trying to delete a duplicate "NVIDIA_kernel" and decided to delete the /lib/modules/2.4.18-3 folder. Unfortunately, I think that folder was important. I tried to mount my cdrom drive, but wasn't able to. Is there any way I can get the contents of that folder back? I think I screwed it up pretty bad!!! Any help would greatly be appreciated. My computer runs but I can't access the net or cdrom drive.

Thanks!

Ack! That was a mistake...

Not being a kernel guru (that's my disclaimer and I'm sticking to it), I would suggest that you do the ""make modules" & "make modules-install" part of the kernel build to re-create the modules.

*sigh* I decided to reboot with the boot disk and found that I could update the missing kernel, then edit /etc/lilo.conf to read the appropriate kernel form /lib/modules/knernalfile Note to self: don't delete the kernel again!

Thanks though rootboy. :)
