Duel boot Linux and Windows Vista

On my Sony Vaio laptop, I have 2 hard disks. One with a partition with Vista, the other with Open SuSe. I use Grub, which works fine up to a point. Using Supergrub, I can set the MBR to allow one OS or the other to boot, but the other causes an error saying the the OS is corrupted. Having to boot from my Supergrub CD and go through the process every time I want to change OSs is not practical. Anyone had this problem and know how to fix it?

What I did when I had two hard drives was I set my BIOS to boot from my linux drive and then I set grub to have to option of booting either. What does your grub.conf look like? And what order do you have your disks in?

One thing to note that really confused me for a while is if you are booting off of your second disk (hdb) then grub actually see that as the first disk (hd0,0) so you have to use the map command to enable grub to see the disks in the order they actually are.

i.e.
map (hd1) (hd0)
map (hd0) (hd1)
