dual boot xp and ubuntu 8.10 on msi wind

To whom it may concern,
I need help with dual booting windows xp and ubuntu 8.10 on an MSI wind. A step by step instructional guide on how to dual boot windows xp and ubuntu 8.10 after xp has been installed would be nice. I am a noob and need help with this and also I would like to buy another msi wind. Any suggestions on which model gives me the best price would be greatly appreciated. I am thinking about the msi wind U120, but I am leaning towards the U100 because I do not need that many features. I just need a new netbook with the most basic features like wireless 802.11 b/g and bluetooh. I would like a 160gb hdd.
