dual boot no longer working after replacing video card

Hello,
My problems started when my Geforce 8800 card suddenly stopped working. After replacing it with another card I found that the grub dual boot message was gone and that I could only boot into Windows 7.The option to boot into LInux was no longer available.
The mmother board is an Asus P5Q Pro.I have 3 HD's, two which are SATA drives one of which has the Windows 7 OS. The third HD is an IDE drive which has the linux OS on it. This drive is setup with the Marvell controller which comes with the Asus motherboard.
My problem is that I cannot access the IDE HD. It does not show up anywhere including the bios.Ihve tried a number of Grub repair progs with no success. I believe that the problem is with the MBR but I do not have the expertise to try a fix. The Marvell controller shows up in the bios as fully operational and I reinstalled the driver.
Any ideas anyone?
Thanks.

On my asus board I had that problem I think it was the settings on the first tab of the bios. I think it was the ahci settings I think I ahd to enable ahci+ide.
