Dual boot Linux and Windows

I have just gotten ubuntu 6.06. I am running the live cd version. I really like it but i need my windows for all my programs. Is there a way i can install ubuntu but still have the option to keep my windows os for when i need to run it. Another things is, Linux os is free but I cant seem to find any free support. I guess they have to make money someway. Thanks for the help.

When you install Ubuntu Linux, it will detect your Windows installation and then install a bootloader that will enable you to choose between Windows and Linux at boot up. As for free support, forums seem to be the best solution.
