Unhappy drivers ac 97 in fc4

Hello,I'm trying to works in FC4.
How install drivers of card sounds AC'97 of Realtek?
I english is not so good and I have just to use linux,so complicated.

The ac97 drivers are already installed in FC4.
This probably dosn't help you - but I have no idea what your problem is.

ThanK Simon,I have just migrate to FC4.Ussualy I worked with windows and is so difficult install something in linux.I donīt heard nothing in my computer and I think that I need install the drivers of sound cars, like windows.How can I install the drivers?If you say the drivers are already installed in FC4, why I don`t listen nothing?.

What Simon Bridge is trying to say is:

1.- FC4 kernel (2.6.15) actually support AC'97 sound card.
2.- If you have downloaded the driver from RealteK, all you have to do is to install it

Here is what you have to do to proceed to install the driver properly:

Type "tar zxvf filename" (supposing is a tar.gz compresed file
Type "cd name of the directory have just been created"
Type "./configure&&make&&make install"
Finally you have to load the module. First read the "README" file which is into the directory and check the name of the module to be loaded.You have to do this just after the compilation process have finished.

Type "lsmod name of the module"

Then your sound card is supposed to be working..
