Hey all... I've seen alot of threads about my Voodoo3 2000 PCI card. I can run the glxgears and it works... but I try to play Quake 3 and I cant. I need DRI. I downloaded it, and when i try to ./install it... i get an error "Could not located 'ed' editor. Aborting." Can anyone help me out? Can I just move the DRI folders to the correct places myself or do I have to install it??? Thanks!

oh.. i use the glxinfo and I see direct rendering: no.
but I do see tdfx on the lhmod or whatever. It is being used. I've already edited my XF86Config.

Please help, thanks!

read the INSTALL or README perhaps.. ed is just a text editor (and it sounds like you don't have that installed) there may be a switch to throw at make install to disable such (or at least point to a different editor).

Either that or I suggest you use a better distro I don't think Lindows is liked to much in these parts of the net.. *shrug*
