Exclamation dpkg -d problems

Hi there,

I've tried to uninstall irm on my Debian Linux 2.4.21 and I receive this error message.

Removing irm ...
dpkg: error processing irm (--remove):
subprocess post-removal script returned error exit status 10
Removing raidtools2 ...
Errors were encountered while processing:
irm
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

It doesn't allow me to install or uninstall any other software and I cannot reinstall all machine...

I've tried :
apt-get remove, with and without force options and
dpkg -d, -P... and still the same

I've read I should change something in the postinstall script
irm.postinst but I have no idea what

any help?

Thanks in advance...
