dpb to BlackBerry via Linux

I'm switching from a standard flip phone (LG AX-350) to a BlackBerry Pearl 8130. The representative at Alltel took my contact list off of my cellphone and e-mailed it to me in a *.dpb file. She said it was a CSV file, but when opening it in a Text Editor it doesn't look like any CSV file I've ever seen. When she printed it at the store it looked like a spreadsheet.

How do I transfer my contacts from this file to my new BlackBerry?

My bank's speadsheet based statements come in .cvs. I would try opening in Calc or Gnumeric or any of the other spreadsheet apps that ship with whatever distro you may have. .cvs is yet another Microshaft friendly file formats that the great programmers in the *nixes have provided for us.
