Downloas Oracle Linux


Hello, this is my firs time,
Son body know where can download Oracle Linux 6 update 6?.

BUT
and this is a duesy ( as in the car )

Oracle set up it's Operating system to run the Oracle DATABASE

and it dose this VERY WELL

oracle linux runs oracles db better that Redhat

BUT

you really WILL WANT TO BUY IT $$$$$$
and buy the server support -- you really will want it .



Now

if this is for a desktop install and NOT a server to run the Oracle database

look at using CentOS 6.6

Also ... remember that Oracle is rather a beast. Even a simple "update" will come with detailed instructions which must be carefully reviewed by your DBA. You need to treat any change whatsoever as "a formal implementation project" with a project-management process in place. This really should be done for any database-server update, but it is especially true of Oracle.
