Downloading distros from the LQ site?

I looked at the download section of distros here at the LQ web site and was a little confused.

Specifically I was looking for a torrent download of SUSE 11.1. However in the file description it had the word "live" does this mean it is just a live version for checking out the program or will I be able to do a full install of the distro, might sound dumb but I don't know.

Live means you can test it before installing. You can install from the Live CD/DVD.

Cheers

You can install it.

The openSUSE 11.1 live-cd can be installed after it is booted.

The openSUSE 11.1 DVD will give you much more control over, and many more choices in, the installation available to you.

Notice the torrent about which you inquired.

Thanks, I didn't know so I had to ask. I had already downloaded it from the Novel web site but it was evidently corrupted even though I downloaded by torrent.
So, I thought I would try downloading it again from the LQ site.

Thank you.
