download skype on ubuntu (Dependency is not satisfiable: libasound2)

Hello everyone,
well, I am kinda new to linux... so I'm sorry if my questions seems rather silly

so, I have ubuntu on my laptop, and I would like to be able to install skype on it... so I went on skype website, and downloaded the version for ubuntu, which is called "Feisty Fawn"... and I keep having this error message:

" Dependency is not satisfiable: libasound2"

So I checked my installed packages... and I have libasound2, 1.0.10-2ubuntu4 installed... is it a really old version, do I need a newest one?

or where is the problem?
or is there another way to install skype on my computer?

Thank you very much
