Download-Offset possible?

Hi there!

I am looking for a software that allows me to download only the middle part, the last 5MB or something like that from a file.

I think this should be possible somehow, because some downloadmanagers load middle parts parallel to increase the overall speed....

I hope to find something like wget ... maybe with a syntax like this:

$ wget --begin=4981k --end=33MB http://...../file.ext

So, does someone know a software like that?

Thanks a lot! :-)

Greetings, Sascha
