Downgrade redhat?

I have had alot of problems with compiling on redhat 9 and all i get is seg faults.

I have tried to reformat and i have been told it could be my memory but i never get any help to fix it or scans i can do to fix it.

Would downgrading Red Hat to 7.3 help this at all? Im running out of options and this is the only problem that is holding me from converting 100% to Red Hat.

RedHat 7.3 seems to be the latest stable release for most people.

After that they seem to lean more toward the bleeding edge of things.

If it's hardware then I guess you will still have a problem.
