Thumbs down double of the trash icons and of my hard drive partions


HI
i am using fc8
sometimes when i open the system i find double of the trash icons and of my hard drive partions
i want to know what causing this and can i fix this

I suspect that chinging windows managers can cause this. Sticking to one windows manager (like KDE or GNOME) per user should solve this issue. On my system, I define a user for each windows manager I want to use.
