dot.flp workaround

What i need is a way to extract the software from the .flp files that are included with many *nix
distros, particularly freeBSD, so that i can install the packages from the partition through the installation kernel in grub. If someone hasnt come up with a way to do that yet ill be very suprised, if you can let me in on it i would appreciate it.

thanks,pax, andy

You could just use Fdisk (or equivalent) to extract the *.flp files onto a floppy, then copy them into a directory on your hard drive.
