dosfsck -rw /dev/hda8 >>> error

i got an error in the file system (due to a electric breakdown) tried to run dosfsck to recover the correct file system but it doesn't work. (actually i just have one unreadable directory) automatic: > dosfsck -aw /dev/hda8 dosfsck 2.10, 22 Sep 2003, FAT32, LFN Reserved field in VFAT long filename slot is not 0 (but 0x0d). why don't you try just " fsck /dev/hda8" . What distro are U using ?

it's the same, actually fsck calls dosfsck
my hd file system is FAT32 cause i have a dual boot and share it with windows distro: mandriva 2006 |
