hi

i got an error in the file system (due to a electric breakdown)
tried to run dosfsck to recover the correct file system but it doesn't work.
(actually i just have one unreadable directory)

automatic:

> dosfsck -aw /dev/hda8

why don't you try just " fsck /dev/hda8" . What distro are U using ?

it's the same, actually fsck calls dosfsck
my hd file system is FAT32 cause i have a dual boot and share it with windows
distro: mandriva 2006
