Dosemu fullscreen produces a blank screen

I am running dosemu 1.4.0 on SUSE 10.1. When I attempt to run dosemu with a default fullscreen ($_X_fullscreen in dosemu.conf) or using the -w command line parameter, a window opens but it is blank. No DOS prompt is shown. I have to kill the process manually as it cannot be removed from the task bar.

I can run a fullscreen mode by opening dosemu normally then right click, choose Advanced then Fullscreen but it would be nice to automate the process for end-users.

Any ideas?

Dave
