don't forget INN .....

HI !


I configure the INN server in my computer.

I edit some script /etc/news/...

now ,i will start it

but ..

#/etc/rc.d/init.d/innd start
Please ren makehistory and /or makedbz before startind innd.

i can not start it .when i use this command ,it print this ...

and how i do?

So what's wrong with ren... uh (pardon me) running makehistory and makedbz?

Take a look at this:

I read somewhere that makedbz -i could help (maybe overwrites the old files, I don't know). Read the manpages. Make the database directory (/var/lib/news?) writable for the programs.
