Dolphin file manager does not update display when moving or deleting searched-for files

I use Linux Mint 17.3 Rosa Cinnamon, and the version of Dolphin is 4.14.2.

When I use "Find" in Dolphin and move or delete files that are in the search results, then the display of these files is not updated even though these actions have been carried out. So deleted files do not disappear, and moved files do not change their path or disappear either. If I try clicking on these files again then I get an error message (because the files have been moved somewhere else). The files have been moved or deleted, but the display stays the same.

I use the "Details" view, and have the path displayed. However, it still has the same problem even if the path is not displayed, and I think in other views as well.

There is no problem when just using Dolphin to view a directory, as then files do disappear when moved or deleted.

Questions:

1) How can I fix this please?

2) Is there any OS where Dolphin definitely does not have this problem with moving or deleting files found in the results of a search? It would be worth changing OS to get a file manager that worked the way I liked.

Searching on the Internet indicates that Dolphin has been having problems with "Find" for several years.

I have tried lots and lots of different file managers, probably all of those available, so there is no need to suggest other file managers I could use. I like Dolphin because it remembers previous destinations. The only other Linux file manager that does this is Double Commander.

Thanks.

you could keep the OS and install a different file manager. I do not use Dolphin so I am lost on that part.
I use pcmanfm and tundar for a back up because it was already installed.
