does ubuntu have lex and yacc,how to use them??

i am using ubuntu hoary, i would like to know how to use the lex (or FLEX) and YACC tools in it, i tried searching for them but could not find them in the distro, does ubuntu haory distro include these two tools??
please reply soon!!

To find out if you have lex and yacc, open a term window and enter these commands:
which lex
which yacc

They should return something like:

Ubuntu by default does not have lex and yacc installed.. You can install them seperately.. Try to find softwares called Bison and flex from and install the same..

lex yacc : Solution

I just found the solution.
you have to use flex instead of lex
and bison instead of yacc.

the package names are flex and bison

Hi ,friends, thank you very much.
I begin to install cdecl but it need lex and yacc, I installed yacc first than when I use sudo apt-get install lex, it notes that can't find lex until I find what you have said.
