I have found and changed the config files and have been successful blocking some sites.
The white list concept is understandable, but as in my basic question, being to put in wild cards in a white list would be easier then listing every single site that was blocked, when they all have the same "extension".
I did see the link about doing this in squid instead of squidguard, but it did not seem to be a better or worse way to do it.
You did include some links that I have not seen (calome1.org), so I'm going to look at those more indepth.
I have put in a new blacklist for porn that does not seem to stop the craigslist forums, so I no longer have this problem. But it still would be nice if there was a way to wild card the entries if it comes up with another site in the future.
Thank you for your responce and time. I've been in the computer industry for 25 years, but have never tried using a forum. This has been an interesting experience.
