Question Does Samba 3 break xSMBrowser?

I use xSMBrowser ( but when I upgraded to Samba 3 I now find that when I try to access shares on non-samba (ie. Windows) machines xSMBrowser insists that no shares are offered, even though they can be accessed from other Windows machines.

The weird thing is, I can access the shares if I mount them (smbfs) or using the command smbclient -L //compname.

Possibly even weirder, the only machine I was able to access was a linux machine running Samba 2.2.8!

Has anyone else experienced this or know of a good xSMBrowser replacement?
