And I knew you were using a proxy.... I even asked if you were yesterday, and you never responded. |
OK --I down loaded yum-3.2.29.tar.gz and installed after that i am getting following things...
[root@localhost ~]# yum install gtkglext-devl Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/bin/yum", line 28, in <module> import yummain File "/usr/share/yum-cli/yummain.py", line 30, in <module> from yum import _ ImportError: cannot import name _ [root@localhost ~]# |
Ok, listen to me. This is what, the third or fourth thread about the same existent issue? Please go back to your other threads and try listening to what myself and the other guys in these forums are trying to tell you. When I was sleeping, someone else posted to your previous thread about this same problem, gtkglext.
And for the record, I need to know why you downloaded and installed a different version of yum? Yum was just working for you, why break it? |
OK --I thought for fedora 7 "yum" is out dated so i downloaded this and installed.
I need all these because i want to install iNSpect for showing nam window for wireless simulations. i installed NS2.34 here which is working well & for iNSpect i need to install gtkglext. |
