does mandrake 10 have a c compiler

just discovred that redhat 9.0 does not have a c compiler, does mandrake 10.0 have a c compiler. i have got the disks and i can go for a mandrake 10 install.

the other option is install anjuta as some one recommended, i am not familiar with installing stuff on linux, actually i have never done it before.

i think so

i believe there is a c compiler on mandrake linux, but not the free version, the 4-disc set contains the c compiler,
if you wish you can just download gcc, which is in my opinion the best set of compilers out there, open source or not

gcc is on the 3 cd set
almost every linux distro has gcc (I can't think of any that doesn't)
Look in the "development" section of rpmdrake.

Disks 1 and 3 seem to be the ones (gcc on disk 1)
