maverick18t: Please don't bump your thread. Post #5 doesn't provide any new information, but due to all of the spelling errors, it is hard to tell.

Here is a sample config for getting a remote video file from another server, converting it using ffmpeg, then streaming it using ffserver.

Sample setup for streaming a video file through ffserver
This config produces a swf or flv file.
use standard html for putting swf/flv on web page.

access the flash file using :

http://www.mydomain.com:8090/test.swf
or
http://www.mydomain.com:8090/test.flv

##########################################################################
This command gets an mjpeg file from a remote server and
converts it using ffmpeg into a suitable feed for ffserver
(all on one line)
##############################

curl "http://mydomain.com/dir/video/file.mjpeg" | ffmpeg -er 4 -y -an -f mjpeg -r 12 -i - http://localhost:8090/feed1.ffm

###########################################################################

sample ffserver.conf (place in /etc )
######################################
# This file specifies all the options for streaming
# an ffmpeg produced file as flash
###########################################################################

Port 8090 # this is the port you have set up for streaming
BindAddress 0.0.0.0
MaxClients 1000
MaxBandwidth 10000

<Feed feed1.ffm>
File /tmp/feed1.ffm
FileMaxSize 20M
</Feed>

# SWF output - great for testing
<Stream test.swf>
# the source feed
Feed feed1.ffm
# the output stream format - SWF = flash
Format swf
# this must match the ffmpeg -r argument
VideoFrameRate 12
# generally leave this is a large number
VideoBufferSize 80000
#VideoBufferSize 1048576
# another quality tweak
VideoBitRate 500
# quality ranges - 1-31 (1 = best, 31 = worst)
VideoQMin 1
VideoQMax 5
VideoSize 320x240
# this sets how many seconds in past to start
PreRoll 0
# wecams don't have audio
NoAudio
</Stream>

# FLV output - good for streaming
<Stream test.flv>
# the source feed
Feed feed1.ffm
# the output stream format - FLV = FLash Video
Format flv
VideoCodec flv
# this must match the ffmpeg -r argument
VideoFrameRate 12
# generally leave this is a large number
VideoBufferSize 80000
# another quality tweak
VideoBitRate 500
# quality ranges - 1-31 (1 = best, 31 = worst)
VideoQMin 1
VideoQMax 5
VideoSize 320x240
# this sets how many seconds in past to start
PreRoll 0
# wecams don't have audio
NoAudio
</Stream>

<Stream stat.html>
Format status
</Stream>

<Redirect index.html>
# credits!
URL http://ffmpeg.sourceforge.net/
</Redirect>
#################################################################################

#to start the server from a script

#!/bin/bash
while [ 1 ]
do
ffserver -f /etc/ffserver.conf
done

# to start everything at once put the following in a shell script
################################################################

#!/bin/bash
ffserver; # runs the script above. must be in the same dir

curl "http://mydomain.com/dir/video/file.mjpeg" | ffmpeg -er 4 -y -an -f mjpeg -r 12 -i - http://localhost:8090/feed1.ffm

#################################################################

That's all I've got, read the documentation if you have any more questions. Test and retest is the only way to find out.
