Does anyone know of add-on software for sendmail to gather statistics?
 

Hey Guys,

Im wondering if there is an addon software so I can gather statistics such as total emails send/recevied. Im running linux. Im not so sure if sendmail has something like this already built in. I couldnt find any information on this..

look through /var/log/maillog and see if it has what you need.

Yes. maillog is fine. Except I dont want to be writing a new program to extract and add up to get totals for daily/monthly.

Figured someone had some plugin software for this...

There is an application out there that should do the trick, but it has quite a bit more features than your looking for. Try this url out:

There is a third party module that was created to give you mail statistics call Maillog View:
