does any body compiled MySql for embedded arm linux systems

I want to compile Mysql for embedded arm systems that has embedded linux in it.
Does any body have such this experience to guide me through it step by step?

Instead of MySQL, have you looked at SQLite? This would seem exactly the sort of use SQLite was designed for.
