Document Manager

Hi,

I am in need of a document manager tool under linux. Actually I am reading scientific papers, PhD thesis and books etc. And then I make an abstract of each paper, book. I want to store these papers with their abstracts, URL, name, etc in digital format. Can you suggest me such a tool? I was using tellico, but i am not content with it. Its search function is very basic. When I search for a keyword, all relevant entries should be displayed within a single table, which is not possible in Tellico.

Thanks in advance

I think tuxcards is nice, but it doesn't provide seperate fields to store the info like tellico. You can create subnodes to store this info (like URL).
The search function provides what you need, it lists all entries (searched from root or in the current notes tree) that contain the search term.
