Exclamation Do you know where ldap server under RH9 is?

Hello pals,
I'm trying to install a ldap server to kick my Window$ 2k server. I've installed RH9 and during the install I've selected the ldap package.
Now when I try to configure the server can't find the ldap server. ldap.conf file is under /etc/ folder but I don't know where the slapd daemon is. I did a ¨find / -name *slapd*¨ command as root but it dont find anything. I think that maybe the ldap package installed with RH9 is just a ¨client¨ or something similar because even the Services tool under the RH main menu dont show the slapd daemon.
Some idea? I've downloaded the ldap server RPM but it tells that is already installed!!??.
Thanks in advance guys.
Moisvon.
