How to do this change in Firefox 13?

set dom.allow_scripts_to_close_windows to true

For an unknown version of Linux, the exact same way you do on windows7 ( the icon shows you are on win7 )

as you do for any in firefox
you type it into the addres bar

please READ up on firefox
you might want to start with the firefox web site

then google " configuring firefox"
you should get a few thousand hits ( 19,000)
or
google the code
