djvu slackware

Hi, after installing djvulibre-3.5.17 and running ldconfig, djview command gives the following message.

Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: No protocol specified

QT Warning: djview: cannot connect to X server :0.0

What is wrong?

Thanks

don't run it as root when you ar logged in as <user>. If you feel that you just can't live without running it as root, you will need to configure xhost to allow access to your X session to other users. This is disable by default for security reasons.
