Question Distribution differences:

Outside of the following:

1) Installation Software
2) Package Management System
3) Applications included
4) File System Structure ( i.e. how the dir's are layed out)
5) Default Kernel and configuration

What are other differences between linux distributions?

Thanks,

Robert Liguori

Sounds as if you have it except for the emotional involvememt with the distro.

File system structure is very similar between the distros I have used with Gentoo being more understandable in the startup/shutdown/module control than the others.
