distcc hostname
 

Whenever i try to compile using distcc i get this error.
distcc[1933] (dcc_connect_by_name) ERROR: failed to look up host "hostname": Unknown host
distcc[1933] Warning: failed to distribute sys.c to hostname, running locally instead

I'm running the daemon is stand alone mode. distcc --daemon --allow 10.0.0.0/24
I have added the host names on the DISTCC_HOSTS variable on both machines. They are both running distcc 2.18.3. One is running slackware and the other is running OS X. Any ideas?
