Displaying attachments in KMail folders

How do you go about showing an icon that an email has an attchment when using KMail? With Thunderbird, for example, you can tell at a glance which emails in a folder have attachments, but with KMail this doesn't seem possible, or am I missing a trick here?

Settings >> Configure KMail >> Appearance >> Message List >> Show attachment icon

Nope, I don't have those options on mine. I only have fonts/colors/layout/headers and there is nothing in any of those tabs that allows me to change the display. If there was, I'd have discovered it by now. I am using KMail 1.6.2 so am wondering if you are referring to an upgraded version?
