display sendmail version
 

Does anyone know offhand the command to display the current sendmail version on your box?

You should post your findings to your own questions, might help another member searching for the same answer.. ;)

less `locate faq.txt | grep sendmail`
/version number

I just telneted to the machine and port for sendmail and it displayed the version number when I got in

telnet <ip address> <port number>
