Are you able to run the "glxgears" program? In other words, do you have opengl working on your system. It is possible that the program you wrote is OK but the problem is with the video configuration of your system. You might want to indicate which video card you are using.
plz tell me abt "glxgears" program", i have not been able to run any openGL program on my system but i know the program is correct 'coz the same program is running on another system with different configuration and having fedura core2 on it. my graphics controller is intel(r) 82810.
OpenGl comes with a test-util called 'glxgears.' do:
locate glxgears
and run it .
What it does is open a window on your desktop with gears spinning against each other. Normally, you open a shell on the desktop, and type : glxgears
and its window appears and starts spinning.
If it is not on your system, then you *Probably* do not have opengl installed.
