display problem

Hello,
In RH 9, i am facing a problem in the X-window (Gnome). when i try to browse through main menu, the mouse pointer is dragging and retains the previous state of the pointer... also, the same happens if i drag any window. Is this a problem due to the mouse or disply?

I have SyncMaster 1100p plus monitor and the vertical, horizontal settings are as per the configuration. Also i have FireGL 4 graphics card and Logitech wheel mouse. Any suggestions?

As I don't use Gnome, I'm not sure where the setting is, but it is an X GUI setting. This has nothing to do with your mouse config. It's a Gnome GUI setting. Sorry that I can't be more specific. Perhaps another can help moreso.
