Display issue of Usplash with Debian Lenny at 1280x800 resolution

I have installed usplash on debian lenny! my laptop resolution is 1280x800

when the system boots then its shows a error: no usable theme for 1280x800 and the simply the verbose starts.. i am sure it is a bug in debian as i have changed the theme file also! and did a lot of googling..

can anyone please help me to resolve this issue!!

default installation: usplash_0.5.19-3_i386.deb

source installation: usplash_0.5.46.tar.gz

i tried both but got struck up with the same issue!!!
