Display CVS module list

We have a CVS server running on Mandrake 10.0. Some of the modules in the repository are displayed when we use TkCVS, LinCVS and WinCVS but some don't get displayed. All the modules imported into the repository using eclipse do not get displayed. From recently enven the modules imported using LinCVS is also do not get displayed in the module list of the above mentioned GUI CVS client tools. We can checkout a module if we know the name of that module. But my problem is how can I configure the CVS so that all the modules are displayed in the CVS clients.

Here, you can get some scripts to solve your problem:

Another way if you want to be "graphical" :-) use cvsweb ( to get the module names to check out. It is a good workaround because one needs to know a module's name to check out usually only once after that only cvs update is needed on the client side.

I hope it could helped.
