Disk Druid/defining RAID stripe sets

Just starting to use Linux in my Software/Programming classes. Need to know if one can define RAID stripe sets/volumes in Disk Druid - don't remember hearing this in class, and it's not in my schoolbook. Can't seem to find on Internet; thought this would be a GREAT place to get an answer. Thx in advance.

Ya Betcha, but of course only at install.

You designate partitions as type 'software RAID', then hit the magic RAID button and stick 'em together, set RAID level.

After install you can do it with fdisk->raidtab->mkraid->raidstart

That said, software RAID is kinda lame.
