Disk 2 probs with Fedora Core 1


I am having a lot of problems with disk 2. I have yet to successfuly download disk 2 (during test, disk 2 fails).

md5sum succeeds every time. Wassup?

OK, if there is no common answer, why no response?

It would be OK if someone said, never had the F#@&!! problem!

This is friggin rediculous. Just did another download of yarro disc 2 (iso) and made a disc (roxio). Same dam thing. What the frig is goin on here??

BTW, my current install is via VMWARE on a win machine.

I had problems with disk 2 after having done a successful install with the disks.... try downloading it from a different site...

OK, it appears the problem is with VmWare (damit).

If I do the check by booting the base computer with disk one, then check disk two...all is well. If I do the boot via VMware (on top of Windows) disk two fails. This is strange...going over to VmWare to find out what is going on.

Appears I am answering my own question. VmWare has a forum...found answer there.

Must select "Legacy Emulation" as Advanced Feature for CD.
