disconnect the port connection


In my server , I found many port connection is established and don't disconnect after the process is completed , can advise how can I disconnect it and release the port ?


netstat -na |grep 192.168.1.2

tcp 0 0 192.168.1.2:987 192.168.0.1:1021 ESTABLISHED

How long have these ports remained open?

I find that this happens occasionally on my system as well, but within a minute or two they will close themselves automatically, so I assume this is how the kernel handles such things and don't worry about it.

Do these connections never close?

The connection remains for at least several days , some of them will be closed themselves automatically, but some of them remains there .
