Disabling BootStrap
I've just installed the FireStarter RPM, and it's working great!
Just one little mishap - after scanning @ nanoprobe.grc.com , It shows port 67 + 68 Closed, not stealthed. These ports correspond to the Bootstrap Server, but I am new to Redhat 9, and cannot think how to turn this off. I use DHCP for my Cable Modem, not BootP. Ty in advance, Matt |
I have the same problem, using mandrake 10 community. Otherwise firestarter works just fine but ports 67-68 seem to be closed (all others stealthed). Any ideas how to stealth those ports too?
